I graduated with an IT diploma from NAIT, stepping into what many would call the dream, stable work, good pay, and a clear career path. I truly loved my job. But as grateful as I was, something inside me knew there was more. The limited vacation time made me pause, and my heart began asking deeper questions: Is this all God has planned for my life?

Growing up, I watched my mom travel often. I saw not only the places she went, but the freedom she lived with. When I saw what she could earn in a year, it amazed me. More than the income, it was the time freedom that stayed with me. That planted a seed deep in my heart.

I’ve always been someone who thinks about the future. I dreamed of a life where I could have more time, more income, and more happiness especially when I would one day have my own family. I wanted to travel with my wife and kids, to be present, not just provide. I wanted a life that felt full, not rushed.

In 2017, that search led me to Greatway Financial Inc.

At first, my reasons were simple: I wanted to earn more and travel more. But as time passed and I grew both personally and spiritually my purpose began to change. My heart shifted. I fell in love with serving people. I realized that when you focus on helping others, money follows. Opportunities follow. Even travel follows, but those become bonuses, not the goal.

What truly transformed me was discovering that this journey wasn’t just about finances, it was about impact.

In 2020, when my wife and I got married, our purpose became even clearer. My wife is a nurse by calling, having served selflessly back home in the Philippines and later in Saudi Arabia. Her life has always been about caring for others often through long hours, sacrifice, and time away from family. Watching her serve with compassion and faith deepened my understanding of what true service looks like.

When she joined Greatway that same year, she saw something beautiful: a way to continue serving people not just physically, but by helping secure their futures. She witnessed how our work allows us to glorify the Lord, not only through words, but through action. She recognized Greatway as a powerful avenue to share her faith, especially knowing that our leadership including our CEO boldly lives and shares their faith too.

Together, our mission became clear:

to lift the name of the Lord by helping and serving God’s people and to lift the name of Jesus in everything we do.

Today, we are passionate about empowering individuals and families with the financial knowledge and tools they need to secure their future while guiding them toward wise stewardship, purposeful living, and deeper trust in God's provision. We believe everyone deserves to live a life free from financial uncertainty, a life filled with peace, purpose, and the opportunity to thrive.
